Our Traditional Leaders
Our leadership system is one of hereditary right. Since time immemorial it has been the duty of the Wolf Clan to sit at the head of the table; to dictate the actions, political and spiritual welfare of the tribal community. All Tribal Councilpersons were elected by the enrolled citizens of the Assawompsett-Nemasket Band of Wampanoags.
